Sales & Contract Manager

John joined the Heartland team in May 2018 as Sales and Contract Manager. John started his career in the marine industry, at Jeffboat, as a welder and then moved into steel fitting. While working towards his A.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue, John had the opportunity to move into the design side of the marine industry. John finished his career at the Indiana shipyard as Director of Sales and Project Management with 44 years in the industry while acquiring a B.S. in Business from Indiana State University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. At Heartland Fabrication, John is responsible for leading the Heartland tank barge build program but will also be involved in all types of barges within the Heartland marine division.
